Description
This area has its own guidebook written about it and providing many single and multi-pitch sport climbs, with a few traditional lines and boulders as well. The rock here is limestone and, thanks to the really short approach times, sometimes rather polished.
You can climb here pretty much all year, though Winter would be pretty hard-core. As is the case with most areas, the conditions are best in Spring and Fall.
The sub-areas are listed as they are named in the guidebook.

Getting There
From Villach, head south to Finkenstein. In the middle of Finkenstein is a Reifeisenbank (a bank, across the street from a cafe). Take the street next to the Reifeisenbank and follow it towards the obvious cliffs. Within 1.5km you'll reach a large parking lot on the left hand side. Park here. The GPS coordinates indicate this parking area.
