I have blood that smells like sweet holy nectar to mozzies. One trip during peak season and had dozens of dozens of bites. I am considering overnighting by a lake near Ruth Lake. How are the bugs up there this time of year? has anyone camped up there lately?

I was up there the weekend of the 27/28 and they were pretty bad at camp in the morning and evening. We didn't have any issues with them while we were at the wall.

Any recent reports?

I was up there last weekend at priord lake and they were very light especially with as wet as the area was. Very unexpected. I am heading up this Friday for the weekend again I will let you know.

They weren't bad at all last weekend, but had been ferocious before that. It was a very pleasant surprise.
