more control over photo downloads.

I think that users should have a choice for weather they download all photos or just beta photos with the initial download. It takes up too much unecessary disk space and clutters the page to have a bunch of random useless photos. Another alternative is to let users delete photos. I understand that photos are initially downloaded at a low resolution which the full res can then be individually downloaded but it doesnt do much good because you arent able to tell which are beta photos or just smeones buddy.

+1. My phone barely has enough space to store text msgs and, even though the MP App is on my SD card, I don't seem to be able to keep the updates and new downloads from going straight to the phone memory!
