Many knew Moon, the dog. She passed yesterday as it snowed in the canyons. She was a proud sled dog, a trusted climbing partner, and my best friend. I think the mountains recognized a sled dog's last day with snow yesterday, she was a true extension of the Malamut.

Thanks to the universe for Moon. She always got me home when it was dark and I didn't know the way.

Rest in peace girl!

A RoooooooOOOooooooOOOooooooOOOooooOOOO!

Sorry for your loss, sounds like she was great.
I'm thinking of getting a Malamute soon, and looking forward to many adventures in the snow....

Sorry for that, but I read that you had a full time together.

Hard to say good bye but let her go she will find an even better world!

So sorry for your loss! I was so lucky to have met Moon. I remember how she looked and how sweet she was like it was yesterday. RIP great girl...

Mellow-Mutts are terrific! We live in an area that has a lot (!!!!) of sled dogs, and these guys always look like the happiest of the happy. The colder the better: I swear they smile when it's -30 and the wind's blowing. Moon sounds like a genuine sweetheart. Glad you got to spend a lot of time with her; bet she enjoyed it, too.

I recognize the "a RoooooooOOOooooooOOOooooooOOOooooOOOO!"

My husky Annapurna talks CONSTANTLY speaks with us this way (that's right we have conversations)

Sorry to hear of the passing man, these breeds are very loving and easy to connect with. I'm very sorry for your "loss".

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
