Molar Crack at Cap Rock Area. Nov 2015.

Wander back into the corridor to sample the tasty dark-chocolate brown rock which is split by a beautiful, but oh so short, thin crack. A thin crack that favors those with smaller digits, it sports the odd face hold, making it somewhat easier than appearances might first suggest. Gear belay and walk off to the south. One star out of five.

Directly behind The Molar, in a narrow corridor, is where you'll find this nice splitter that's mostly hidden from view.

Gear to 2" (with an emphasis on gear to 0.75")

thin to red Alien, with gear anchor up to 0.75; walkoff toward the back to the first obvious gully and downscramble to climber's right
