Description

Known for it's highball bouldering and longer trad lines, Mizugaki is an excellent choice in warmer weather. Climbing season spring, summer, and fall. If you do not mind near freezing temps December is great friction. This area also has what seems as an endless supply of granite boulders. There are many areas with developed boulders and many areas being developed now. The same goes for the trad lines.

Getting There

From Tokyo take the Chuo west to the Sutama exit just past Nirasaki. Travel north on 411 then north on the 601. 601 ends at a T, the right is 23 and the left is 610. Both of these will take you to Mizugaki Yama. These roads actually make a large loop.
