Description Mission to Moscow is the obvious right leaning crack. Mostly hands with some funky stemming and chimneying possible to delay the pump. Fight up to the squeeze chimney at the top, bust a move through the steep crack and a 3-bolt anchor awaits. The Mission was thoroughly cleaned in June of 2008 and could use a regular ascent every now and then to keep it in a manageable condition. With the amount of loose rock that was brushed off/fell out of the crack, the star rating should be upped at least 1 star. If there was a decent trail up to the base, it would probably earn another star. Alright! 2 out of 3 stars ain't bad.
Location Up across from the Eagle Buttress. Visible from the road.
Protection A double set would be more than enough. Maybe an extra red and gold camalot would be nice. Rap anchors at the top.

| Agreed- nice work. Thanks for the beta photo. I've checked that communist line out before but never made the jump that it is the Mission to Moscow. Is it really only 70ft? Looked long, hard, and fairly steep. |
