A strictly East facing wall, the Mirror Wall can be used as a warm-up for the hardy parties that arrive before the sun hits the Crimpfest. Crimpfest is actually just the West facing wall of a narrow slot, with the Mirror Wall forming the West boundary and creating an East facing wall. Not quite as classy as the Crimpfest, Mirror does host a few climbs that are well worth running.
Just hang to the right on the way down to Crimpfest. If you scramble down past the slabs it is a tad easier to pick your way right.
Not to be confused with Ziggy's Sell Out, which is the far right route on the Mirror Wall, this route is Ziggy's Day Out, the far left route. But anyway, it climbs sort of similarly, with some crystals and the like, and the same rating - lots of 10 and low 11 moves. The stone quality is not as good as the Crimpfest stone just across the way, but these make nice morning warmups when the sun hasn't reached Crimpfest yet....[more]Browse More Classics in CO
