Description Suggest change

Main wall with the classics faces to the southeast. Does get some wind, which dries the rock quickly after rain. Excellent views of pasture land below and of the Cascade foothills beyond. Both Mt. Bailey and Mt. McLoughlin can be seen on clear days.
Great rock quality. Lithic Arkose sandstone. Not the sandstone found in the southwestern U.S. but still gentle on the hands.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive up the Reston Ridge Road on weekends Sept. 15 until March 15. This is active timber country, so it is usually best just to park at the gate, even if it is open. The hike is short but steep. Great way to warm up!
