Military Wall is awesome and will fill you whole climbing day for youand your entourage from the warm-up to the last red-point attempt on your project.
From Slade, KY (Miguel's): Highway 15 west, 1 mi. Take right onto hwy 77 driving past some seriously bad looking real estate. Continue on 77 through Nada Tunnel and down the other side and some crazy switchbacks. When the hill ends there will be a parking lot on your left, park then hike 100' back up the road, cross it and the brook at the little bridge, make your way up the trail, take a right for Military Wall continue up the trail for 5-10min then round a corner and you'll have Sunshine and Moonbeam on your right and Tissue Tiger, Fuzzy Undercling, etc ahead of you on the overhanging intimidating wall.

A good route on good rock, now that it has cleaned up a bit.Follow a line of bolts that starts a short distance right of Jungle Beat up the right side of a wall. Continues up and right onto and around a blunt arete avoiding a roof by traversing above it, going further right still to an overhanging pocketed face and up to a 2-bolt anchor. ...[more] Browse More Classics in KY
