As usual my Climbing is delayed (damn post office) so I haven't seen it yet. Isn't Winsonsinite what they referred to Jay as in the last issue he was featured in (mid-07?) when they called him (and nobody has proved any different as far as I know) the "first Winsonsinite to climb 5.14". Go Jay! Chris treggE

Correctdamundo!
That does beg the question has any other "Winsonsinite" ever climbed 5.14??????
"Winsonsinite" defined by being born or moving to Wisconsin by Age 5.

I would say that if you can indeed load up your u-haul, drive there, & unload it before you are age 5; I would think 5.14 should be the minimum grade you could climb. Buff Johnson

I started a thread after the climbing first printed the "Winsonsinite" article wondering if he was the first to climb 5.14. Here's the link.

Apparently there is a Wisconsin born guy repeating so of Tommy C. 14's in Colorado.

Don't you know that a red arrow always follows me around? It's getting a bit annoying, actually. Jay Knower

I don't think anyone actually confuses Jay for Kayte or vice versa, but their shoes are a different story...
