| In an effort to clarify/solidify things, Here's a new post regarding the fall climber's party at the Lake. A number of people have expressed concern regarding rumors indicating the traditional date (the third Sat. in Oct.) may have changed. There was also fears that some climbers may not know just when it is, if it has changed (or not).
The people I've spoken to all want to stick with traditions and have it on Oct. 17th. So please join us for a cook out at whatever South Shore shelter we can commandeer. And of course we still need to speak with Donna at Green Valley about the campfire afterwards. Any volunteers? I've done it a bunch of times in the past and would love to be relieved of the responsibility.
Looking forward to seeing everyone! Spread the word to any climbers you know who would like to attend. Let's hope for good weather and a nice day of climbing followed by a good party.

| "Sunday morning, the aroma of freshly-made pancakes will serve as your alarm clock." I read this in the event description for the guided climbers, by the way they are staying at Green Valley. I wish I could be there. Free pan cakes for all I would assume, newbie young climber girls, running around Sat. night. Perfect in every way. | FLAG |

| Suare went until 4:30 am by several accounts... I only made it until 1:30.. Lots of fire jumping at the start.... The character of many not in attendance was routinely brought into question....hee hee. | FLAG |

| Another excellent year end party. Hats off to Jeff, Brian and others for making it through 24 hours of pure consciousness. Also, hats off to Mr DMT - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyltryptamine I thought he was possibly a delusional psychotic, but he spoke the truth after all! There were no pancakes, the alarm clock turned out to be Gonzo's honda, clanking dead soldiers and dreams of an empty donut box | FLAG |

| Screw the DMT, the real tragedy was that despite all the booze nobody could come up with a solution to Dave's great dilemma | FLAG |

| Ya know, if the Crag Rags were still around that could easily solve Dave's Dilemma. But there are far more pressing issues to attend to in my mind. For one, did anyone get arrested? For two, was there any effort at all of giving alms of Fuknez with the ritualistic throwing of 6 foot burning logs into the air? Did anyone feast on dead, smooth organs? These are all heavy issues that the Security Council just might need to take up. | FLAG |

| My esteemed brother o f-nes and fellow security council member the Duke o puke Hammercase Dave Sloshbury brings up some interesting questions. Was the standard of fuk-nes upheld? Did anyone hangup side down by their toes on the sloping asphalt shingles of the southshore pavillion and consume some sort of f-nes? Were psychodelics(?)ingested? Was anyone arrested?Did anyone wreck their car leaving the party? I beleive the 6 foot flaming log throwing ceremony was usually followed by tackling a bush, then being accosted by the dnr and requested to produce an I.D. .where upon the correct response was to say"I don't think I have an I.D.!!!!" and push said dnr official to the ground and start running....all this in down booties.Of course you don't get very far and have to spend the nite in the Baraboo jail. All in the name of upholding the standards of fuk-nes. peace and f-nes ....steve s. | FLAG |
