Greetings Climbers and Outdoor Enthusiasts!

Mid-Atlantic Climbers is hosting three adopt-a-crags this year in collaboration with the Access Fund and we need volunteers! Click on any of the events for more details and to register. Please consider supporting these events with your attendance and by sharing them with friends.

National Public Lands Day / Adopt-a-Crag at Carderock, MD
Saturday, September 29th, 2012
8am - 12 noon
This year's adopt-a-arag coincides with National Public Lands Day. Our efforts to preserve our local climbing resource will be mirrored by hundreds of projects and thousands of volunteers all across the country. Carderock is one of the most used climbing areas in our region, and every year it needs some TLC to help maintain the trails and reduce human impact.

10th Annual Adopt-a-Crag Great Falls, VA
Saturday, October 20th, 2012
8am - 12 noon
This is the area's longest running and largest Adopt-a-Crag events. Volunteers will work on various projects throughout the park in the morning and then be treated to a free BBQ and raffle courtesy of Mid Atlantic Climbers and our generous sponsors.

Northwest Branch Adopt-a-Crag
Saturday, November 10th, 2012

Join us for our annual trash pick-up and trail work at this great bouldering area in Silver Spring, MD.

You can also show your support financially by becoming a member of both organizations in one easy step.

We hope to see you this fall either at an event or out climbing! Thank you for your support.
