Hi, I have been looking at the mountain hardware Hestia pants for a Rainier and Mt Adams trip this september.
I would be using some thermal undies and the those pants as outer layer.

I need some advice here as i could not find any reviews about those pants.
Anyone could help me out here? Any other suggestions for pants for around 125$?

Heres the link MH Hestia Pants

Thanks!

I've been ice climbing in the Northeast all winter in a pair of Hestia pants. I wear fleece pants, like Patagonia's heavyweight Capilene under them. Warm enough for belaying into the low teens. I like the fabric - it seems to breath better than Gore-tex, so I don't get as sweaty on approaches. I hate the pockets and the suspenders. The pockets have small openings, and are hard to get anything in or out of. As a woman, I need to be able to undo the suspenders to answer calls of nature. These are darn near impossible to disconnect and reconnect, so I ditched 'em. Also, the snaps on the sides are weak and sometimes come undone under my harness.
Bottom line, they'll keep you warm and dry enough, but might be occasionally annoying.

I like mine.. i have noticed that they are very fit dependent tho. For instance, the waist to thigh was tight on me and i bumped a size but the length was off. I went online and found the Large, Short verison and they fit just right. They are a bit of a bell bottom as well, hasn't caused much of an issue but some reviews i found said it was an issue for them. i found a deal on mine through spadout.com, 114 shipped! I wear cap 4 under mine and its perfect down to 12*

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
