|So, getting to this do you hike clear up onto the bench below Liberty Cap buttress and then descend? That seems like the only way to do it. I am just hoping for a somewhat shorter approach.|

F**K this area... the annoying ass hike is not worth the crappy quality of rock. Completely blank faces all over the place - so sad.
ALSO BE CAREFUL!!!!
When I was up last we encountered RATTLESNAKES!
Was scary, be careful when popping your head around corners looking for lines - with how slippery the rock is, it is easy for them to fall down into the cracks and crevices.
