Description

Long cliff line that includes some detached boulders. A lot of choss, but definitely solid rock to be had. Morning shade, afternoon sun. Needs lots of development.

Getting There

Memorial Overlook is on the northeast side of Elk City Lake, just east and uphill from the dam. If coming from the dam, take the first left, just at the top of the hill. Drive down this road till you reach the trail head.

To get to the walls, follow the Table Mound Hiking Trail on the north end of the parking lot. It will wrap around down to the south (left) after going down a short scrambly section. Alternately, you can hop the fence on the south end of the parking lot by the bathrooms and do a short down climb that will place you in the middle of the walls.
