SDS at a low shelf and work up and slightly right on horizontals to the crux move, a long reach to a two-handed slot, before making another reach and and mantling over the sloping top. FYI - unlike the guidebook description the crux is down low unless you're mantelly-challenged. Short but really fun climbing on mostly jugs with a definite crux....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA

Blitzo...that's a very creative name, for Joshua Tree, "The Meadows." I've read many books regarding the desert and never seen meadows used as a descriptor in reference to any desert feature. Although, back in John C. Fremont's day, in the mid 1800's, the area that became Las Vegas, was referred to as "The Meadows."
