After living out west for a while, I'm going to be taking the summer off and living with family in southern Maine before heading to Boston in the fall for grad school. I'm looking to do the following with all my free time:

1. Keep boosting my sport climbing level, I just broke into the .12 level, and I want to make those gains solid. Ideally, I want to spend at least 1-2 days a week working some climbs at those levels, and find some lines to project. If I don't have a partner for number 2 in a given week, then I'll give more time to this one.

2. Tick classic New England lines. The longer and more aesthetic the line the better (I'm going to start a thread in the regional forum for suggestions on this one). I'm thinking of starting with 5.8 and working my way up the grades till I figure out where my ceiling is for New England trad climbing, and then I want to break that ceiling. But more importantly, I want to climb long, sexy, routes. I have no objection to long approaches.

If you're interested in doing #2 with me, please realize that I will not jump on a multi-pitch climb with you right after shaking your hand (unless we happen to know someone in common who says I can trust you). I will suggest we go for a crag day somewhere to make sure we trust each other/can stand each other, and then I'm up for adventuring.
