Description Suggest change

This is the prominent, and some call it majestic, peak at the end of the drainage which invites the hardy soul who seeks an adventure away from the crowds. Expect full-on technical challenges for the most difficult lines here. The east face is interrupted, perhaps thankfully, with ledges. Some snow gullies are available for those seeking kicking steps.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach from the Glacier Gorge Trailhead. Head up the winter trail after crossing the 2nd bridge. Go up past Mills' Lake, Jewell Lake, Black Lake (or via Solitude Lake), up an easier iced section, and up to McHenry's Peak.
