Description
What a pump out of an HVS! Steep and sustained, Maupassant climbs one of the several parallel crack systems on the L'Horla buttress. Jam the lower section to reach a bridging rest and a massive jug. Make some funky moves on angular ledges and get to a wide crack which is laybacked precariously, feet on one side and hands on the other, above gear. Succeeding on this scary crux will get you to a glory jug and the top.
