ALL SEASONAL CLIMBING CLOSURES FOR CLIMBING AND SLACKLINING WILL BE LIFTED ON FRIDAY, JULY 7TH THIS WEEK.

There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Description
The Marsupial Wall forms the backdrop of the Marsupials, spanning a half-mile width of nearly unbroken vertical rock. Sub-areas of the Marsupial Wall from left-to-right include Dreamland, the Dog Wall, Atmosphere Wall, Maiden Oregon, and the Colosseum.
Since 2014, Alan Collins has been a constant force of development in the area. Between Dreamland, Philosophers' Stone, Trenchtown, Babylon, and Maiden Oregon, he's installed over eighty new routes in the area.

Getting There
For Dreamland, Dog Wall and Atmosphere Wall, follow the trail from below Koala Rock across the slope toward Brogan Spire, taking the left fork uphill until reaching the notch in the hillside below Dreamland/Dog Wall. For the Atmosphere Wall, turn right and drop down the hill several hundred feet.
For a direct approach to Maiden Oregon and the Colosseum, catch a trail that dips off Burma Rd near the bottom of the hill and parallels the canal, passing through some nice boulders. This will take you to the base of the Mud Pile, then around the south side and uphill, where you will find a trail that traverses directly across the broad slope to Maiden Oregon. Alternatively, take the standard approach to Brogan Spire, pass through the 4th class notch with Mini-Half Dome and find the trail traversing to Maiden Oregon.
Approaching any of these walls takes around an hour.
