Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Description

Short wall with half a dozen nice lines. 5.6 to 5.11 Some really classic moves. Hit it in the morning on your hike into the Narrows. Good quality rock and fun little area. Belay from the big rock in the middle of Cache creek or several piled rocks closer to the wall.

(Note: Have been climbing WMWR for a decade+ and not heard of this wall until May 2009. Will update as I learn more about FA's, route names...)

Getting There

Two approaches through the back of the Boulder picnic area. Before going up the first hill, take the path to the right, cross the creek and the wall is on your left. Or, continue up the hill, to the "scenic overlook" on the right. Look down, you are standing at the top of the wall.
