The peaks of Manning Provincial Park are mostly hiker summits. The best technical peaks are the Hozomeens, just south of the border but most easily accessed from the BC. The highest peak in the park has a trail to the top, Frosty Mountain.

At the eastern limit of the Canadian Cascades, in the Okanagan sub-range. is Cathedral Provincial Park. The granite cracks of Cathedral Peak have been well explored by climbers.
