Description Suggest change

Begin awkwardly from a hanging start down low and left from the normal start. Your arms will be spanned wide utilizing a LH/LF match on an edge and RH on a low sidepull undercling at the very bottom of the roof features. Do a few powerful moves up into the regular start for Maker's Mark. Originally thought to be V9ish, V8 may be more appropriate.

Location Suggest change

About 30 yards after leaving The Ladder and well before you arrive at Pink Fink, you will be walking alongside a wall of sorts with several large talus boulders on your left looming over the trail. Maker's Mark is located on the first of two overhanging aretes. This problem is the lesser-known low start for this well-known problem.

Protection Suggest change

Several pads & an attentive spot. The PG-13 rating is given due to a seriously uneven landing area involving a deep pit and talus boulders that could easily snap ankles, etc.
