Lonnie Valencia on The Fang

Description

Secluded granite bouldering. This has the highest concentration of boulders and established problems. Several good top ropes exist here as well. Season is spring through fall.

Getting There

Take the trail across from campsite 5 from the Horse Flats campground. Follow it and pass Romeo Void on your left. The trail will eventually lead you straight into a fabulous bouldering area. Probably a 5-15 minute brisk hike.

The reference boulder for this area could be the flaky boulder, east of the trail just past the clearing - it's home to the classic "B1 Traverse".
