Description Suggest change

Several ice routes are here, including the well-known Lundy Falls. Probably best climbed in November, when snow and cold temperatures have helped ice formation but the trailhead is still accessible by car/truck and the hike can be done without skis or snowshoes. Later in the season expect the approach to be 2.5 to 3 miles longer.

Getting There Suggest change

From the trailhead follow the summer trail into the canyon about 1.75 miles. Just after crossing a talus slope at the bottom of a gully (the descent gully) the trail switchbacks uphill to the south. Lundy Falls starts to climber's right. Access the other routes by climbing Lundy Falls or hiking up the descent gully. Be aware that this gully is avalanche terrain.
