Description

Many Large Granite boulders scatter around the beach to east of the highway and in the bogs west of the highway.

Nice boulders. The north side of Bonavista bay is littered with granite cliffs and boulders and sandy beaches. Especially the many islands.

Also, Good area for surfing on sandy beaches as well. Beaches are beautiful and sandy.

FA's are up for grabs in lumsden still. Will update asap when the send train goes through.

Ideal to climb when it is around 5 to 15 degrees and a light wind. Very buggy in the bog unless its cold(less then 15 degrees) or windy.

Going to the boulders in the bog, at times, you wonder if you need a boat or atv. Many boulders are surround by what seems to be moats, but usually have a nice area around them once you figure out the approach.

Also, where they shot the scene Marshes of Dead in LOTR the fellowship. Watch out for ghost and boo bagers.
