Description

This area has over 20 routes most are on the west side of the canyon, although there are 1 or 2 on the East side they are very easy. (last time i was there the routes on the east side had no rappel anchors I rapped off a single bolt, it is probably a project)

Getting There

Walk down the climbers trail and you're there.

Phil at the upper crux of Eco Challenge (5.11a), Frustration Creek

Eco Challenge 5.11a 6c 22 VII+ 22 E3 5c  CA : San Bernardino Mountains : ... : Lower Tier

Once you get to the first bolt the rock solidifies. This is where the bat with the huge fangs was chillin right on a key hand hold. The bats do not normally nest on this climb, I think that this bat was sick. Toward the top it goes past vertical a few degrees but the holds are solid, you just gotta find them since there really isn't any...[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
