Description Suggest change

Most problems are found on or directly below a broken and discontinuous cliff band. Problem types vary greatly. Travel between problems can be difficult but navigation becomes easy once you have your bearings. Low Side contains the best of what Bone Collector has to offer with plenty more hard problems still waiting for a proper suitor. Those feeling a need to explore, hike along the cliffs to the north. Hiking can be a bit of a chore due to ground brush, but it is bearable. 10 minute hike will lead you to two massive boulders with potential for seriously hard problems.

Getting There Suggest change

This is the hardest area to find but well worth it. You have 2 options: 1) You can either turn left 1.2 miles from Hwy 44 at a cairn. Follow this road for about a ½ mile until you see large slash piles on your right. From here, turn right and either drive off-road as far as you’d like or park. Either way, hike uphill moving slightly right as you go. After a few minutes, you will see a large boulder with a small tree growing out of it. This is the Prosaic Boulder. Past Prosaic, you will see the cliff band and boulder field containing the majority of problems in this area. 2) You can also get by parking in Bone Collector Proper and following the old road until you hit the ridge line. Turn left onto the single track (Bone Collector) there and follow it until you begin to hit bike bridges. Hike down a shoot and you are in the middle of it.
