Description Suggest change

Lost Flatironette is a rock so-named for what may happen trying to find it. More likely just that it is not visible from... anywhere but the base, or if on-route on an immediately neighboring rock. It is actually not very hard to find if you know where it is supposed to be and decide to just look there.

As for route quality, there is one route, and while it starts off down in the trees and shade and a little less than ideal (complete with the expected pine needles and lichen), for the most part it is quite good. A brief section of softer rock for 1-2 moves merits close attention about 80' up and on the left arete, but there are good holds present, enough so to keep the route from being objectively hazardous.

Getting There Suggest change

Walk the Royal Arch trail over Sentinel Pass and past Yodeling Moves and the 4th Flatironette, which come almost so close tot he trail as to touch it.
Immediately after passing the 4th Flatironette, and before walking past the base of the 4th Flatiron proper, turn abruptly back to the Northwest and hike uphill just behind the $th Flatironette to a point behind (West of) its summit. The bulbous top of Yodeling Moves will be apparent to the North and up as you arrive at this Lost Flatironette.
