Well, I feel a little less alone in my bonehead-fiesta seeing that someone else lost most of their rack here this week.
I left about half of my gear at EITHER the base of double-cross OR at the Thin Wall - all the way back at the first week of the month. I know - how did I not think to post till now? Let's just say I'm not the most meticulous dude in the world.
Gear: an old set of mixed nuts, mostly non-anodized BD stoppers; an older Metolius power-cam (black), a camalot C4 #2, a camalot C4 #3, an obscure DMM cam (also #3 size), a tiny little blue cam (wild country maybe?), and a handful of CAMP wire-gate quickdraws. Also some other random draws, one greenish double-length sling with a locker on one side.
Please let me know if you were the guy or gal who showed up the next morning to this un-manned yard sale. It will greatly slow my climbing career if I never see this stuff again!
Good luck with that. I left about 30% of my rack at the base of a climb few years back. We had rapped off another line and some miscommunication with my partner...anyway it never got picked up. Fortunately it was a kind of remote spot and I went back for it next day.
