Looking to add some Tallulah Routes to the database...need partners

So if you know Tallulah Gorge you know that some of the best TRAD climbing is here. My goal is to add a few of the classic routes such as Cracker State(the 1st 5.12 in GA). Also, the Dungeon Wall and Stretch wall aren't listed at all. As per MP guidleines, a route may only be added to the database by a person who has personal knowledge of it. Looking for partners or otherwise interested climbers to get some classics represented. If you've been on some of the unrepresented classics, throw em up there....

Hey Will, the Stretch Wall and the Dungeon Wall are a dicey trudge to get to these days, so everything is likely to be filthy. As in REALLY filthy. Might need to go clean them up a bit.

Do not listen to Chris. Climbed there yesterday until it rained. Approach is about five to ten minutes long. Yes the place always needs a clean up. Wear long pants, lots of briars. Patronize the store, they own the approach and maybe the cliff. Just do not get hurt or make a scene. There is a reason it is called the Dungeon. Leave a jug line if you think you might not be able to climb out. As far as beta from Mr. Watford, I think since he purposely went and discredited climbers like myself, Robyn Ebesfeild, and Roy Britton by changing old accurate info in his old guide to false info in his new guide makes him unfit to offer advice or be a credible guide book author.

Shannon; Im cooking Grilled Chicken Nachos and Margaritas. PS Shannon you are absolutely right about the guidebook! Good for you, Robyn and Roy. He has lost credibility with people (like me) who climbed with you, Robyn and Roy.

You trying to stop a good a thread? If your cooking Margaritas, you better slow it down. You know how people on this site takes things too literal.

I really am cooking, wish you were here. I posted on the Starshine thread too.

How incredibly sad. Well, I don't want to be responsible for ruining someone's life, so here you go.
Heaven And Hell 12a
FA:Greg Allen and Shannon Stegg, 1986
or if you prefer, Shannon Stegg and Greg Allen, 1986. Whichever. Greg doesn't care I'm sure.
Sorry about omitting the FFA. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
FFA: Shannon Stegg, Robyn Erbesfield, Roy Britton, 1886. It's safe to say that neither Robyn nor Roy (who I used to climb with a good bit) care or even remember this route. It's been 30 years, but you know, I don't want them to feel disrespected.
There. All better now?

Shannon and Chris.
I know you both well and I guess I will be the one to remind you.
We have a common enemy right now.

Further...
If you two put your heads together, there could be such a tome produced on climbing in the SE, that you'd need several reems for.
Panthertown, Whitesides, Tallulah, Table Rock/SC, etc., etc., etc.

Shannon....flesh out the Tallulah Section here.

Sorry Chris, You sound angry and confused. I was talking about Heaven and Hell, and by the way Spent Brass was chopped several years ago by Steve Felkner. How dare you speak for Robyn and Roy. Both of them could easily remember that day and I challenge anyone who knows them to make a call. You take credit for climbs like Dreamscape and I was their when my friend Curtis had the vision to send it. I defended your honor for years and fed you route info only to be stabbed in the back by some one I thought was my friend.

Now there's a couple of ironic statements. You won't have to worry much longer about getting stabbed in the back by friends; at the rate you're going, pretty soon you won't have any.

Sorry Sean, when you guys chopped all my ground up routes on LK it put me behind schedule.

What's real irony is an administrator more interested in petty comments than the integrity of our passion.

Gentlemen...

And Shannon....

Shall we convene in AL, around a bonfire, while my woman brings us cold beers and boiled peanuts?
Let's talk about conservation, access, conquests.
Not this silly N GA/ATL ninnery.
And, yes, there needs be more representation on this site as well as among the SCC for those of us from the Dirty South.
But, I digress.

Carry on.

Stop posting from Alabama after a three beer lunch. Let these Gentlemen (and Shannon) have their fun.

Dang, I almost choked on my beer reading that one, nice jab!

JL, I understand you're trying to make a point, but I think the chances of me giving up any friends because of what I've been reading on here so far are about...well, lets see.....zero.

Understood, Jody. Get back to me on that after he's taken a big dump on you in a public forum.

This is a great idea and very generous of Mr. Rabbit. Hell, I'd even send him a few bucks for the beers if he pulls it off.
