Hey hey hey!

My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Salt Lake from Flagstaff at the beginning of May! We've heard living in or close to the Sugarhouse area is a sweet place to be, and we'd also like to be close to the base of the canyons for quick climbing/adventuring access :) We like to keep busy and don't spend a ton of time at home, but we'd like to be in a cozy house vs. an apartment. We're also really hoping to get a dog when we get out to Salt Lake, so a dog friendly place is highly preferred! We would also welcome more friendly dogs too! From what we have seen there are some nice and affordable 4 bedroom houses in ideal locations, but we would need a couple roommates. But, if anyone out there has a room available we're open to that option as well!

A little more about us.. we love taking weekend or several day long trips to places a couple hours away, like The City of Rocks, Zion, Moab, the Creek, and with Wyoming so much closer exploring the Tetons and Yellowstone is a must do! Besides climbing, we love being out and about mountain biking, fly fishing, and trail running. In Flag we had a sweet community that would pot luck and make dinner together a couple times a week which was rad (so a good kitchen would be a plus).

We'd love to tell you more about ourselves if you're interested in finding a place to live! So feel free to shoot me a message.

We're excited to make the move and look forward to getting to know the SLC climbing community!!

Hello,
Did you find any takers yet? I am in the same boat and would love to chat! I'm in SLC now looking at places - and do love the 9th and 9th/Sugar House areas.

I'll be starting work with a firm doing natural resource management work using remote sensing technologies. Before the move - I've been spending my weekdays in Seattle in grad school and working for the last 10 years. And my weekends climbing, skiing, running (and plotting for my next international adventure!).

I have a dog too. She's pretty mellow (a 12 year old Brittany) that is my awesome running partner - but she's also getting kind of old too, so she doesn't have as much energy or running stamina as she once did. Ah, it happens to us all!

Hope to talk soon,
Karis
