Hello,
I just moved to Raleigh, N.C. from the Pacific Northwest for two years of graduate school. I've spent the last four years bopping around local crags in eastern Washington to weeks at Smith Rocks in central Oregon, or Red Rocks in Nevada, and The City of Rocks in Southern Idaho. I'm always up for any climbing over no climbing. With the New four hours away, I was hoping there would be some Raleigh area folk interested in teaming up for some trad climbing adventures the problem is, I'm not sure where to meet them...

Any suggestions. A club or local gym that has lots of outdoor climbers? Or if you are interested in some trad climbing schenanigans from Lynville Gorge to the New or any other crag send me a message! Everything from fun, hard trad to looking between existing lines for new routes sounds like fun.

While it's raining today in Raleigh, it may not be raining at the new this next weekend or Lynville gorge for that matter.

Take care,
Matthew

TRC in Morrisville, just west of Raleigh. Lots of good people there. Just left the area for Chicago and wish I could go back.

I would interested in some weekend trips once I heal up in a couple weeks. Welcome to Raleigh though, TRC would be the place to meet some people quick. If you're at State they have a wall where you may be able to find some fellow students too.

Thanks guys! I am indeed at State for the next two years. Will have to look into the climbing wall there. TRC seems like the place to go in town.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
