I am climber and also part of a product development effort at a MN based playground company. We are currently making a line of bouldering elements for playgrounds. In the past we have just sculpted these forms and ended with pretty sad, eroded looking rocks. I have been pushing for more realistic and challenging rock elements.
To accomplish this, we need to pull molds off of actual rock. We are open to paying for the access to privately owned land, but do not have many connections to these places.
We would most likely only need a day to do this unless the rock faces are amazing. Ideally we would be able to drive up to the rock, but can make it work on foot within about 500 ft. If you have any land in MN or WI with good rock (preferably igneous) or know somebody who might be interested, please reply and I would be happy to discuss details.
