Looking For Climbing Partners - Bay Area

Hi,

My girlfriend and I just recently relocated to the Bay Area and are looking to meet up with local climbers. We've both been climbing on and off for a couple of years. Full rack, two 60m ropes etc. Looking for fellow sport climbers or trad who would be willing to take us along. Neither of us have really done much trad so we'd be looking to learn from more experienced climbers. I'm comfortable leading, she isn't. Just looking for some good climbing partners who enjoy climbing in the Bay Area. Weekends are good for both of us, I do freelance work and free mostly during the week. Thanks!

in the bay as well. down for anything free all the time everyday (except dec 15-22). can lead 5.8. no trad gear though except some random cams i can borrow from a friend.

Fred, just replied to your other thread. Rich and Trevor, anyone down for a climb later this week? I'm free Wednesday and Thursday. Would love to go to Castle Rock or Diablo. Not a ton of trad experience and no gear, but am a competent belayer and have plenty of anchor gear if anyone wants to just do some laps. Let me know.

quick bum, anyone around before the holiday break? Really want to get a climb in

I'm visiting in-laws in Redwood City until the 28th, would be up for climbing.

I brought shoes, harness, ATC (I was planning to hit Planet Granite Belmont a few times).

I've never gone "blind date" climbing; maybe we would meet at the gym, determine next steps.

Im also looking to climb - recently been bouldering indian rock in berkeley, but would love to climb some routes in the area. Living in oakland, On again - off again climber for the past few years, competent belayer, a little trad exp. at lovers leap, red rocks, etc.

next couple days are free!

We've got a small but regular crew on the peninsula who gather on weekends outdoors, wednesday nights at Belmont PG usually. Occasional weekends we carpool to hit some bigger walls in Tahoe, Pinnacles or Yosemite. DM me if you're interested in joining up...
