I'm going to be visiting my in-laws in Huntsville the first week of July. There's rock all over the place there but I'm seeing zero info on it here at MP. Is there anything around Huntsville or maybe in Algonquin that is worth while? If so where should I go for a guidebook, will be coming from the Soo so I'm thinking North Bay might be the best option for one?

Hey, There is not much up that way that I know of. If you want to climb you can head to the Collingwood area. There are a number of areas there. Climbing is pretty restricted in Ontario and is having a tough battle with access issues. I live in southern Ontario. I would recommend joining the ontarioclimbing.com form and maybe you could get some of the pros to show you around.
If you prefer old-school trad climbing there's Bon Echo (see alpineclubtoronto.ca/bonech…). Several hours from Huntsville, but no further than Collingwood. Beware of loose rock. Aquatic approach.
Algonquin Park is officially closed to climbing. Same for most other Ontario provincial parks.
