I am moving to LA and need a place to rent starting mid June to the end of summer or maybe till October. I currently live in Salt Lake City and will be coming out to LA soon for work pursuits in the film industry. I am obsessed with climbing; I have a preference for trad routes although I enjoy sport climbing as well... I'd be stoked to live with others who enjoy climbing as I do not have any climbing partners who live in the LA area. I can lead up to 5.9 trad routes and up to 10 B sport routes... I enjoy surfing as well! I'm super easy to live with, 420 friendly, and very very tidy! I have a nice 70 meter rope as well as a sport rack... My trad rack is growing slowly but surely :)

What are your pursuits in the film industry?
I've lived in LA for quite a while and it's definitely a love/hate relationship.
I know a couple people that I can ask about the roommate situation but only one of them climbs. Will let you know.

I would say try craiglist list for subletting? I know people in LA always sublet for a few months, something that you seem to be looking for. I have a few friends that I visit often in LA (downtown and west LA) and sometimes make my way North of La to climb after visiting them.
