Hello, my name is Kyle and I live in Appleton, Wisconsin. I have move here about a year and half ago from South Dakota and have been craving to go climbing. There is nothing close in Appleton and I don't know anyone here so I'm reaching out to here to maybe find a climbing partner to travel around on weekends or something to go climb.

I have full equipment (rope, top anchor, quickdraws, etc.) and am just looking for someone to climb with. Its been about 1.5 years since I've climbed so it might take some time to get back in shape but that goes pretty quickly with me.

My climbing ability is around 5.9 or 5.10 once I start getting in shape.

If anyone is around me is looking to climb or if anyone knows of any clubs or links around me I would greatly appreciate it.

Isn't there a gym in Appleton?

Now that the season has finally started, you could just go to Devils Lake, hike up to the East Rampart (at the top of the CCC trail), and be friendly with folks. Once you get to know a few folks, you'll quickly meet more.

Not sure exactly when I'll next be up at the Lake ....

Hey Kyle I am in Appleton and down to climb. High Cliff is right outside of town and it is an okay place to climb. Always down for Devils Lake on the weekends.

Sadly there is no gym in Appleton and we could really use one. Used to have one called Vertical Stronghold but closed many years ago.

Hey Brian. I checked out High Cliff but I couldn't find any of the spots that I looked up. I couldn't find any anchor points. Maybe I just need to go with someone that knows the routes.

And Doug, there are no more gyms in Appleton that I know of.
