Been living in Denver for about a year and I've been really trying to learn how to sport climb. I've been bouldering for a while but never had anyone experienced to teach me how to properly sport climb outside. I have a 70m rope, draws, and a car; just need someone patient enough to teach a beginner. Willing to buy them a beer/lunch, drive or whatever. I work in Golden a lot so heading over to Clear Creek after works for me, would also love to find other people to boulder around the area with.
I work in Littleton so I climb at Earth Treks in Golden sometimes. I was trying to climb at Clear Creek after work, but I've got a finger injury now so I'm trying to stay off the crimpy stuff at CCC. Because I have a young boy at home, my time to climb is pretty limited. I can only climb once a week in the gym from 4pm to 7pm, and one day on the weekend (Friday to Sunday). If that sounds ok to you, send me a PM via Mountain Project.
I'm in the same camp. Work in Boulder, but have two small kids so before work in the flatirons and Saturdays anywhere else are pretty much my only available time to climb other than gyms in the evening. Otherwise I'm incredibly motivated. Safe belayer, followed on trad climbs but need to get out more and move to leading. I have all my own TR gear including a 60m rope, but need to build a rack, which I'll do as soon as I can find a partner.
