Looking for 80m bi-weave

I'm in the market for a new rope. However I'm having difficulties finding companies who sell the exact rope I'm looking for. Which is an 80 meter bi-weave. I would rather it not be dry treated as I don't climb ice. Would anyone have recommendations? Thanks for the input.

Look at Sterling, they do most of their range in bi-pattern and non-dry in most lengths from 50-80m, and others on custom order.

Maxim just released a bi-pattern version of their Airliner 9.1 and it's outstanding.

It should be noted that if you run pitches together out to near the length of a rope this long and thin that you can be setting the second up for trouble if they're starting off the ground or a ledge and there is a low crux on the starting pitch. A very experienced friend broke an ankle in a fall from rope stretch alone under just such a circumstance.

A couple years ago i had a lot of problems with the sheaths falling apart on Sterlings after not that much use.

I replaced my 80m with a Bluewater Hyalite and that thing is rugged. I love it

Pretty interested in the Beal unicore tech- and 80m joker would be the shiz

Gearx is having a rope sale. I also just read a bunch of reviews on the edelweiss rope sheath failures. It was common with the ARCs. FYI.

Edit: that exact rope mentioned above I think was discussed at length in another MP post. Keep an eye on weight per meter. Skinnier ropes can often weigh the same or more than a thicker diameter.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
