Looking for someone to watch your place for a week in December? We are hoping to find a residence (apartment, trailer, house, etc.) for short term rent in December in or near Moab, UT for a week sometime between Dec.5th and Dec. 23rd. We could pay ~$400 for a week if the place has the basics. About us: We are a couple in our mid 30's from Boulder moving to North Carolina in January. She will be a professor in public policy, I am a carpenter/geologist/fly fisherman. We are spending a few weeks in Utah before we drive out. We'd love to stay in a home instead of a hotel, and we're hoping that maybe someone is out of town and happens to need the money and their place watched. We have a 38 lb. dog that is very well trained, and we are not 'partiers'. If this sounds like a good fit contact me through MP and we can discuss more! Thanks, Tevis
Check out the Lazy Lizard Hostel. They also have some houses for rent for a pretty reasonable price. I can't remember exactly, but they weren't crazy expensive. The house we rented was an old double wide that looked like they hadn't changed a thing since the estate sale when they bought it, but it was clean and you could walk to the brewery.
This town rolls up in the winter. Probably a hundred or more wide open vacation rentals. 400 a week tho? Most places are about 100 a day. Check out VRBO.
