Long stack,I have what should be 2 easy questions about long stack in NH if I follow the directions, where will the approach trail bring me? What will be the closest obvious climb? And is there any reason not to go there tomorrow (05-02-15) Thanks

If you can drive through the gate make sure you park on the right when you drive down the wooded road and it clears out a bit. Rock wall on right is where the climbers trail is. Don't do like I did the first time and drive to the end which is gated again and walked down that road to a nice pond (but did eventually find the right spot).

Can't think if what routes are at the trail junction at the cliff however you'll figure it out. There's a climb in a corner that's pretty easy to figure out and get bearings.

Just FYI - I think grades below 5.10 are stiff. The Chinos climb hard!

Definitely get on Coyote Rain! Stellar!

Tomorrow will be a great day! Enjoy.

Did you climb Saturday at Longstack? If so what did you think?

We were there on Saturday, lead Coyote Rain, Evening Blues, and tried a top rope on The Route Vultures, but I still can't get that move over the overlap.
Ran out of time, but next was Trifecta or Winter Classic.

There is a dead pine that has fallen on Rona's Roof. We plan to clear it sometime, just keep forgetting the saw.

It was just us and two other climbers all day,,,,,,,,

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
