BETA PHOTO: Beta for problems on the wall.

This wall is somewhat hidden on the left side (when heading towards the Sit Down area) at the bottom of the hill after the egg. The wall faces away from the road and is kind of a surprise when you walk around the back of the lump of rock you can see from the road.

Getting There

Walk past the Egg boulder and down the next hill and past a trail on the left. Just before heading up the hill to Sit Down there is a not very promising looking set of rocks on the left. Walk around the back and the climbing is located on the face away from the road.

Climbing Season

For the Lincoln Woods area.

Weather station 6.5 miles from here

No. 4 on the beta photo. Start sitting matched on a crimp approximately 3 feet right of the obvious jug. Jug and crack/seam on the left are off-route. Climb cool crimps on the face to a good hold on shelf then get high foot and step up onto the shelf. Still some slab climbing to get to the top (avoid the small trees). Needs a bit more cleaning....[more]   Browse More Classics in Rhode Island
