Bridgette, this is not an attack on you. Hope you realize that. It's just my personal opinion on the event and how it has grown.

Please excuse my ignorance Chen.

Excuse me? ....

I could not have said this better Brigette. Without fail, Beanfest events have left the area MUCH cleaner than when we arrived; so much so that they could almost be called "Beanfest/Cleanup" events. Wiclimber, I'm not sure where you are getting your information from but it's no where near accurate. Sunday morning is 'cleanup day' and it involves folks with trashbags scouring the campground and well outside of the immediate perimeter, down into washes, trails, etc picking up every bit of toilet paper and other trash we encounter.

I can't even remotely imagine that you ever came out to any Beanfest in the last few years and found a mess. If so, it's more than likely that you went to the wrong campground or waited too long to check the site out and ended up finding another group's mess.

Brigette, I personally watched you scour the washes and campground for a couple hours picking up nasty toilet paper and other garbage while Kim, JD and I did the morning wash. Thank You for all your cleanup efforts in addition to all your work in putting on an incredible Beanfest! I agree with Chen and the others in don't let him get to you.

Why even bother getting on here to rant about something you obviously know nothing about?
