| I felt and heard a pop in my left middle finger. Any suggestions on what to do? | FLAG |

| See an orthopedist, if it hurts. If it doesn't hurt and you haven't lost any movement, don't worry about it. | FLAG |

| x2 on the orthopedist. I see that you're in Frisco.... The Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail is world class. I partially tore a ligament on the left side of my right middle finger a few weeks ago. As per a hand specialist's advice I've been taping over the joint and then buddy taping with the pointer (which is on the same side as the torn ligament) while climbing. I'm able to climb reasonably hard but am definitely 'listening' to the pain and not pushing too hard. Seems to be progressing slowly but steadily. | FLAG |

| Tape all the other fingers down, and splint the affected finger up. See how that works out for ya. ;-) | FLAG |

| Actually, see a hand specialist. These days things are pretty specialized as far as hands vs. the other bones. Also, it could be a pulley injury. | FLAG |
