Description
This is East Vail's easiest, drytool sport line. This fun, short line follows 6 bolts up a slabby face using pockets, cracks, and features that are roughly a tool-length apart. The route climbs similar to an easy Tourette's.
Begin below a shallow right-facing seam with sinker pockets and good feet. Feet become a bit sparse between 1st and 2nd bolt, but the pockets, seams, and features continue to be bomber. Trend up and right, traversing on a ramp to the chain anchors.
It is well-bolted for safety and fun. This is a great, first drytool lead and/or warm-up. It is an excellent introduction on how to 'read' Vail limestone. It would be significantly harder with snow on the slab, as the pockets and features may be hidden.
