Eiger, Monsch, Jungfrau from top of Lehn

Description

Hardman sport climbing in Interlaken. The rock is a sandstone/limestone mix, easy on the fingers, with quite varied hold types. Vertical to overhanging, all in the woods, south-facing. 120+ single-pitch routes to 30m, 6a-8c+.

Getting There

Easiest access by car, could also bike or even walk from Interlaken. Park in the first parking lot you hit after Hotel Golf. There is a bike path which goes west, crossing a river. Note: in Schweiz Extrem West the parking lot is marked at the river, but this isn't the case! Hike only a short way up the path straight across the river, until a 'no fires' sign covered with climbing stickers. The steep path to the righthand side of the crag starts here.

The traverse is not too hard, and you can back-clean to reduce rope drag. If you don't want to do the traverse, can head up for a 7b on left or 7c+ on the right! Then straight up on the left side of a left-facing scoop.
