Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

The area on the West side of the road approaching the Indian Cove climbing area before the group camp site road.
There is potential for harder climbs and more easy out here, but this is a great area for beginners.

Getting There

Drive South and up the hill towards Indian Cove campgrounds. When you reach the sign that says "Driving off Established Roads Prohibited" then you are there.
