Description Suggest change

Left Rib V2

Left Rib is an excellent problem in a similar style to Cheese Grater, only a little longer, a little harder, and a little better.

Start with your left hand on a slanting rail and move up and right to a decent crimp. Slap right for the rib. Move up the rib with good footwork (crux) and some trickery to an easy topout.

Alternately climb the rib directly from below at the same grade.

Location Suggest change

Left Rib is on the same boulder as the classic V3 American Gigolo, and is just south of the Black Dyke boulder

For more beta I recommend purchasing Marc Bourdon's excellent guidebook from one of the local stores.

Protection Suggest change

The landing is very good for Squamish, though two pads are nice to have.
